Cut In The Nose Herpes?

"You can tie my hands and feet" of Mahmoud Darwish

can tie my hands and feet
take my notebook and cigarettes
fill my mouth with earth
poetry is my blood of the living heart
of my bread, salt, light in my eyes.
will be written with the nails, the look and iron,
will sing in my prison cell,
to the bathroom in the barn
,
under the lash,

between the strains in the throes of the chains.
I have inside me a million nightingales
To sing my song of struggle.
